a Song For Your Heart

Having Italian Greyhounds as my first sighthound love, I was very attracted to the more petite Silkens.  My first two girls are on the smaller side of the standard with Esperanza at 19 ¼ “and Riata at 19 ¾”.  I am committed to breeding my beloved Silkens with males that together will produce healthy puppies with sound flowing movement and gentle loving personalities

I have a very strong relationship with each of my dogs, a bond that each of us depends on and takes joy from.  I never want so many dogs that this would change.  Even though my love is boundless, my time is not.  Recognizing this, I will breed few litters, all carefully chosen and planned.

Each puppy that is born here will be socialized, worked with and loved.  They will be raised in my home with my IGs and most will be perfect for homes with small dogs.  They will leave here ready to face the world and fit into their new life with their new family. 

In placing each puppy born here, the suitability of the home and love the puppy will get is first consideration.  No dog will leave here without the agreement that they can and should come back to me if you  (or someone you love and trust) can no longer care for them.  If it turns out that you are one of my babies’ human, please know I am here for you throughout your puppy’s life.

And whether I have puppies or not, I would be thrilled to tell you of the beautiful dogs and puppies other breeders have available now.  The important thing is to enjoy your search.  It is the beginning of  a new love in your life.
